Some ventilator setting adjustments, a round of antibiotics, nine resuscitations after breath holds, a new trach tube (cuffed, ugh), tons of suctioning, one accidental decanulation and tube replacement, 5 days of charming the nurses, twice a day steroids by nebulizer, twice a day coffees by starbucks, two boxes of kleenex, and six new soothies later, we are home again.
Not yet well, but definitely on the mend.

Sorry I have't posted on here in a while but I've been thinking about you, praying for you & asking my Angel to watch over all of you.
I hope each day finds you healthier than the next, if it were up to all the prayers that are going out for you none of you would have another sick day ~ ever!

Glad to hear you are home, but sad to hear about all the hospital action. I had to google decanulation. we continue to keep your lovely family in our prayers.
